After dealing with a long permit process and situations that were beyond our reach, we were able to launch our first beer. Produced and canned in our establishment by Puerto Rican hands, led by our brewmaster Alberto Camacho, it is our first recipe of many which, for now, will only be available to the public in our “tap room”.
On Saturday, July 25, 2020, it will be the official launch. Due to the new regulations we will be doing an event that will be exclusively by reservation, from 12 p.m. at 7 p.m. This day we will be selling 50 crowlers and we will have 5 kegs available that you can enjoy only at Rincón Beer Company. To reserve, you can contact the establishment during our business hours at (787) 280-8866 or you can write to us on our social networks.
The design of the can was in collaboration with one of our local artists, Javier Gil, who was able to capture a wave from one of the best beaches in the world that is in our patio “Tres Palmas”. It is an “overhead” wave that shows the strength and intensity of the moment which we want to represent with the flavors of this beer.
Overhead IPA is an 8.2% American Double IPA with an IBU of 86, it has three types of hops that are: Mosaic, El Dorado and Amarillo. It is a beer with a dry finish, with citrus flavors, a strong smell of hops, and notorious bitters present.
We are currently in a process of expanding our “brew house” to take another step towards our goal and be able to monopolize the 16 lines we have of our own beers. At the moment, new beers are released every Friday, which are experimental recipes in search of a final product.
